Ass't Fire Chief Bob's Chili 2lbs. ground beef 1 large onion, diced 1 c. celery, diced 1 quart V8 vegetable juice 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 2 pkgs. French's chili mix garlic powder to taste 1/2 green pepper, diced 1 tsp. sugar 1/4 c. chili powder (mild) 2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans 1 jalapeno pepper, diced
Brown meat with onion and celery. Add remaining ingredients except beans. Bring to a boil for 1/2hour. Reduce heat and simmer for approximately one hour before serving. Last one half hour of cooking, add beans.
