I have started this section because I know a firefighter who happens to be a great man and the love of my life. Sure, they are very brave when it comes to their jobs. They also put their lives at risk everyday. What many people do not realize is that it can be a very emotional and straining job. Most of us think of these men as hero's and only think of the good in their jobs. There is alot that the normal everyday person does not know about the job. The death that these men see on a day to day basis. With this being said I dedicate this site to all those Firefighters out their that put their own lives on the line to save ours........
Do you know of a firefighter?
Are you a firefighter?
Do you have a great story of fighting the beast?
If so, please feel free to share your stories.

I come from a firefighting family and my dad, brothers, uncles and cousins are all on the job. My brother Mike was a firefighter for FDNY when he responded on his day off on 9-11-2001. We lost Mike when the south tower collapsed but I know that many people survived because of his bravery and the bravery of the firefighters, medics and port authority police in New York City that day. I will always remember my little brother as a guy that thought of others before himself and loved his job. He never considered himself a hero but I have always thought of him as my hero and he is now my ANGEL! God bless the FDNY and those who gave so selflessly of themselves to save others that day!
